Technology Doesn't
Stop at the City Limits

When floods, wildfires, or storms hit rural Texas, small counties are on their own. No backup connectivity. No tech team. No way to coordinate rescue or reach family. Texas DisasterLink exists to change that.

📡
Emergency Connectivity Rapid Starlink deployment to disaster zones within hours of activation — at no cost to counties.
🌐
Rural Broadband Access Permanent connectivity loans to rural schools, clinics, and community centers that lack reliable internet year-round.
🛠️
Disaster Tech Corps IT expertise deployed on the ground — helping survivors file FEMA claims, recover documents, and navigate recovery systems.

Two Programs.
One Mission.

Texas DisasterLink operates two complementary programs that share the same hardware, team, and county relationships.

🚨 TDL Response

When disaster strikes, we deploy within hours — not days. Emergency connectivity hardware, on-the-ground IT support, and hands-on help navigating FEMA recovery systems for survivors who need it most.

  • Rapid Starlink deployment to declared disaster areas
  • Connectivity for first responders and command posts
  • Digital recovery assistance for survivors
  • County government partnership at zero cost
  • Funded by FEMA BRIC and TDEM Homeland Security grants
📶 TDL Connect

Rural Broadband Loan

Between disasters, our Starlinks serve rural Texas communities that lack reliable internet every single day — schools, clinics, and community centers that need connectivity to function.

  • Starlink loans to rural schools and health clinics
  • Affordable subscription model covers our costs
  • Equipment recalled instantly during disaster response
  • Builds permanent county relationships year-round
  • Funded by USDA ReConnect and FCC broadband grants

We're Looking for
the Right Partners

Texas DisasterLink builds formal government and institutional partnerships — not just one-time engagements. Here's how we work together.

01
🏛️

County Governments

We formalize partnerships with Texas county emergency management offices through a simple MOU. You get emergency connectivity at no cost. We get the government partner credential we need for federal grants. Everyone wins.

A Flood. A Phone Call.
Ten Starlinks.

In mid-2025, a devastating flood hit Central Texas. First responders on the ground couldn't communicate — the flood had wiped out cell towers in a remote area with no backup connectivity. People were calling for anyone with a Starlink to help.

We sent ours. Then we bought nine more. Texas DisasterLink was founded on the belief that no Texas county should face a disaster without a connectivity plan — and that a small, tech-focused nonprofit could fill the gap that big carriers and government agencies leave behind.

We're based in Dallas, deploying across Texas, and building the government partnerships that make our work sustainable. We're not waiting for the next disaster. We're preparing for it now.
